Green Fiery Gauntlets by CraftyMutt Green Fiery Gauntlets by CraftyMutt
If you'd like to learn how to make something like this check out the Scale Mail Tutorial Page and any feedback you can give to improve it is massively appreciated :D there's even a pattern for sale now as well as the free tutorial!

I love the combination of colours that were requested on these gloves. I never thought to put black, green and silver together but they look so good!
I really enjoyed knitting these, gloves with patterns in clear sections between solid colour and transition blocks are great to make because each short stage goes quickly and it makes them seem to knit up faster.
These were also the final pair in a personal challenge I set to knit three pairs of gloves in three days. AND I DID IT! :D
(not by much, but I did!)

Want a custom made pair of your own design? Custom scale orders can be taken through CraftyMutt's Etsy through purchasing one of the standard custom orders or sending a message about something even more special like having scales all round the wrist!
You can alternatively order your own basic custom pair and find out even more information at CraftyMutt's Scale Mail Page where you'll see links to the information I need to make your own unique personally designed gauntlets and pouches :)
You can also see CraftyMutt on Facebook for more pictures, updates on what I'm doing and general crafty stuff!

I get my scales at The Ring Lord, very helpful and never had a problem with anything from them, they're awesome :D

(oops late reply, I always run away from busy comment sections ><)

Ok I gotta say these are waaaay freakin awesome. Totally inspired me to make some of my own! I'm always looking for inspiration and new ideas, I don't like staying within normal stuff. Regular knitting can get so dull and this is exactly what i need to make things exciting :D. I've been soooo into scales and dragons lately XD
