Knitted Scale Glove and Choker Set (black/purple) by CraftyMutt Knitted Scale Glove and Choker Set (black/purple) by CraftyMutt
Bulk uploading a few designs I've made in the past few... months (didn't mean to wander off for so long ><)

And here is the standard shabang:
If you'd like to learn how to make something like this check out the Scale Mail Tutorial Page and any feedback you can give to improve it is massively appreciated :D there's even a pattern for sale now as well as the free tutorial!

Want a custom made pair of your own design? Custom scale orders can be taken through CraftyMutt's Etsy through purchasing one of the standard custom orders or sending a message about something even more special like having scales all round the wrist!
You can alternatively order your own basic custom pair and find out even more information at CraftyMutt's Scale Mail Page where you'll see links to the information I need to make your own unique personally designed gauntlets and pouches :)
Commissions may not always be running, but I can design your gloves almost any time and put them on reserve for my next knitting spree!

If you'd just like photos of gloves, scaly creatures, and competitions to win said items in a convenient form, go see CraftyMutt's facebook!

I really love the designs of those and your tutorial is excellent! :)
May I ask how many scales you need for such a pair on average? It's just that I would love to try this, but am not sure about the number I'd need.

And totally, your new deviations were worth the wait!

This pair of gloves use about 500 small scales, 250 on each glove.
If you want to start out with the minimum spending in case it doesn't work, about 300 are enough to make a wrist-length pair, the shortest ones that you can find in my gallery are made with 300, any fewer and they can end up looking a bit short!
